A while back we shared that we had been booked to shoot the weddings of identical twin sisters, Reily & Sarah, in 2010. We've shared photos from their respective New Orleans engagement sessions.... Reily & Doug in City Park and Sarah & Patrick in the French Quarter ... and we've already blogged the first of the two weddings... see Reily & Doug's beautiful Plantation wedding here. BUT what we failed to blog was a photo of these sweet ladies side-by-side... Meg says she was holding out for a dream bridal session of the twins BOTH in white - but, unfortunately the scheduling never worked out. (sigh)
Until we catch this blog back up-to-date, you'll have to wait to see all the wedding goodness from Sarah & Patrick's big day - but I will share a little sneak preview now. Meg made her way IN FRONT of the lens for a rare photo opp with two of her favorite brides and their husbands...

Poor Dale - he sent me the funniest email earlier today: "Charles -- OMG!! My bride has asked every 5 minutes today if I have heard from you. Save me bro! We need ONE to look at!"
Here it is - our first bridal session featuring a bride AND a groom. We love it! Kati scheduled her session eons ago and then called us a few days before to see if Troy could maybe tag along for a few photos. "ummm... heck ya!" What a fantastic way to arrange for some extra 'couple shots' in the wedding attire - without the stress of a wedding day. Now of course, this concept of a bride and groom session is not new (see some of our Newlywed sessions!) - but scheduling this prior to the big day was a (welcome) first for us. Now, if only we could think up a good name for our (not-so-newlywed, yet more than a bridal) session...
