Tracy + Dale contacted our studio about photographing their mid-week wedding this past June. Once we figured out WHERE to have the wedding, the rest was easy! This was another perfect opportunity for yours truly to shoot solo.

Everyone was there - the officiant, the couple, the kids, and me! :-) It was amazing to have the kids as part of the wedding - they got to participate and focus on the vows along with mom & dad.

Hello lovelies! I wanted to kick off this week with the oh-so-sweet wedding of Kara + Jake from Jackson, MS. Although I only had the privilege of spending one (happy) day with these lovebirds, I can attest that these two just ooze warmth and love. They were wonderful to photograph and my day only got better when we teamed up with the fantastically talented team over at Feria Cinematic out of Nashville - who were brought in to create a killer wedding video. I couldn't endorse these guys enough... after watching them in action, I think Charles is ready to jump ship with me and see if they'd let him carry their bags if he would agree to move to Tennessee! Just this week, I shared my solo-photographer adventure with Shannon + DC here in Pensacola. Two days after Shannon + DC's wedding, I found myself flying solo to Miami to photograph the Coral Gables wedding of Liz + Sam. These two are an awesome story - Liz is from Key Largo, FL and went abroad to London to further her creative career. She met Sam at an art school they were both attending in London... and the rest, as they say, is history.
We started the morning at the historic Biltmore in Coral Gables, Florida.
Those of you that keep up with our little corner of the world know that I get to strike out "all by myself" every so often to photograph a wedding solo. For me, it's an exciting opportunity to really "peek out" from behind Meg's dominating talent & strut my stuff, so to speak!

The Pensacola Country Club offers a majestic green lawn overlooking the bay - which was the perfect spot for bridal party formals.
After the ceremony, we took advantage of the golden light during cocktail hour.
Some "pretty-pretty".
And of course... what is a golf course wedding without a little golf?
It took several strokes, but Shannon finally made the putt!
