Okay Stephanie - I just know somehow that you've been checking in here from time to time now waiting for your wedding post to go live ;) Well, wait no more because it is *finally* your turn!

In early August we were honored to photograph the delightful wedding of Stephanie + Andy in Downtown Pensacola. These two have a fun and quirky style that they incorporated into every part of the wedding day... see for yourself!

Stephanie + Andy

Wedding

August 7, 2009

Pensacola, FL

I have a 'thing' for bridal shoes because so often the shoes the bride wears are a nice compliment to the overall feel or theme of the day. On this day, both the bride AND the groom rocked some cool shoes.

More flair.

Long time followers might recognize Rachel (on the left here), Stephanie's sister, from our old blog... we photographed her daughter Abigail and newborn, Lily with Mom & Dad - - and now, look! - - they've added a third kiddo to the bunch! And just wait until you see little baby Lily down below - she's a little person already!

Loving the colors here...

I *heart* non-white dresses. I forgot to pull a shot for the blog (bad blogger) but our bride is sporting blue suede shoes under that gown!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the flowers, compliments of Celebrations in Pensacola.

Okay, this is baby Lily on the left - and of course, Stephanie on the right looking lovely.

Love the use of burlap, greenery, and natural materials in this ceremony setup - just perfect.

Did I mention Andy has three feet? LOL. Totally kidding - it wasn't the best framing, I know - but it makes me laugh, so I had to share.

Yes, the groomsmen all wore matching chocolate brown Converse.

Stephanie was escorted up the aisle by her father.

How fantastic are these trees?!

Sisters.

Cute.

Married!!

The reception was held at Stephanie's folks newly available Pensacola wedding venue, De Luna Landing.

(Disclaimer: following description found on the web)

Located at the southernmost point of Palafox Street, directly in the heart of downtown, this spacious venue is perfect for weddings, luncheons, receptions, and other unique events. De Luna's Landing accommodates up to 220 people, features stunning waterfront views, and is one of the best sunset views in town. Our facility is unique in that clients have the flexibility to choose their own caterers, florists, decorators, and other event specialists.

Stephanie coordinated with her groom for the first dance by wearing GOLD Converse. Come on, is this cute or what?!

Toasts + Roasts.

Supercool Groom's Cake.

Emotions ran high during the sweet speeches...

I love that her hair matches her tattoo - which I also love.

I have never seen such an enthusiastic bouquet toss recipient!

Isn't this the BEST getaway vehicle ever?! LOVE.

Okay, and I'm sorry about this last one Andy, but this had me rolling! Just as he let go of the brake, the bike jolted forward and into/over the curb they went.... when the wheel first hit the curb, for a split second, I thought he might lose his new bride! But, they made it on alright - and I suppose it's a rather fitting way to start a marriage. There will undoubtedly be a few bumps along the way, but what matters is that you stick together on the same course and make a speedy recovery :)
