This past September, Eilleen + Trey tied the knot in a charming, rural setting in the southwest corner of Louisiana. Nottoway Plantation is a stunning venue tucked between soaring fields of sugar cane. Complete with a grand house for parties, a bride's getting ready room, and a gorgeous reception space, it was a wonderful venue to photograph. |

I should mention that this particular wedding was photographed by yours truly. I convinced Meg to tag along...but she worked on creating a wedding film, while I handled the photography. A few details from the bridal suite.

We ended up with a gusty wedding day on 09.09.09, so the ceremony had to be moved into a ballroom. As far as backup plans go, it was pretty much perfect!

Husband & wife. Thanks to Meg for the shot on the left!

Following the ceremony, we stole a few minutes to work with Eilleen + Trey before releasing them into their reception.

I have to confess that Trey may have the coolest job in the world - professional poker player.

The get-a-way toss was all set...a quick detail shot on the way into the reception.

A few spirited jabs at the bride & groom during the toast.

Beyonce has changed the face of the bouquet toss for the foreseeable future. All the singles ladies were in on this one.

We had a small mishap during the toss. Actually, it was a great toss...but the bouquet ended up stuck in the chandelier.

Trey recruited an assistant for the garter removal.

Congratulations newlyweds!
