Elizabeth & Justin had a wonderful festive weekend planned for their guests this past October. The background for the wedding - the city of New Orleans. Perhaps my favorite sentiment from this wedding was the welcome toast delivered by Justin at the rehearsal dinner. He thanked their guests for travelling to New Orleans, and admitted that EVERYONE had to travel. He explained that they had selected New Orleans as a halfway point between Texas & Florida, and that in their own small way, they wanted to be a part of bringing New Orleans back. He asked all of the guests to go back to their homes, and spread the word - that New Orleans is indeed alive again. What a fantastic & selfless act for a wedding weekend.
A love note from Justin. |

Meet Elizabeth. Side note - Meg has a fascination with chandeliers & frames. She insisted on these shots making the sneak peek! She loves Johnathan Adler furniture too...but it's not in the picture. Just thought I'd mention that.

A toast to the new couple.

Meet Justin. A first sight.

Elizabeth's niece drew this adorable illustration of the upcoming festivities at the New Orleans Museum of Art. Too cute.

What a fabulous venue for a wedding ceremony.

The staff performed a miracle change-over following the ceremony & readied the room for dancing.

Check out the layering on the right. Jazzy.

Justin's grooms 'cake' came in the form of an awesome ice cream bar (smarty pants!) set up with a toppings lineup and marble slabs with staff at the ready to whip up a custom flavor, this was a HUGE hit! The big pretty cake to the right never stood a chance!

OMG -- we LOVE this image!!! Yes, I realize we TOOK the image. But still...LOVE this image.

And the crowning jewel. What an expression. Congratulations Elizabeth & Justin!!! We'll have the rest of the images ready for you first thing next week.
