For the wedding day, the group was staying at a charming property called Nikkos Villas. Each morning, the proprietor (Nikko) would make each of the guests a European breakfast, and chat with them in the dining room of the hotel. The rooms where amazing -- essentially, caves tunneled into the side of the cliffs.
Meg worked with Christina, while I hung out with Ruben & co. |

His & hers. In case you're wondering... that is Manolo Blanhik's signature on the bottom of the bride's shoe.

Christina writing a note for Ruben.

Ruben & his brother-in-law.

It was a long hike to the top of the cliff where the ceremony took place. Fortunately, Christina had her own personal entertainment to keep her company!

Now -- we've done plenty of Greek ceremonies before. But this was the first Greek ceremony spoken in full Greek! I understood two words that the priest said: Christina & Ruben. :-)

Christina confessed that this concoction was extremely strong - I believe it was a Greek wine. The priest was insistent that the couple finish the entire cup!

During the recessional down the cliff, a variety of locals & tourists alike congratulated the new couple.

The Santorini countryside in the background.

Once we had completed the couples formals, we moved to a restaurant called Sphinx.

An amazing view of the reception.

Congratulations Christina & Ruben!!!
