You first met Katherine when we shared her Baton Rouge bridal session a few weeks ago. We photographed Katherine + Gary's wedding during March of 2009 over in Baton Rouge, LA. Here are a few images from their wedding day.

| The downtown Hilton in Baton Rouge has a special suite that honors the great Louisiana governor Huey Long. Katherine is related to Huey on her mother's side. |

| This was a really special moment - the family was invited to join the couple at the front of the church, and helped to seal the vows. |

| Katherine & Gary are both involved in Baton Rouge politics, so the new capitol building seemed to be the perfect groom's cake. If you look close, you'll even see the statue of Huey Long near the bottom of the frame! |
