I was so excited today to see Amanda & Blake were next on my 'to be blogged' list - they are the sweetest people - I just knew their wedding would be as thoughful and warm as they are. As you'll see, they went with a 'beach chic' feel... think rustic meets luxe... worn, wooden benches and tables meet plush outdoor sofas dotting the lawn under strings of light... yum. Nothing pretentious, appropriately understated ... but oh so well done. A big kudos must go out to Tammy and her talented staff over at The Eventful Planner - who no doubt had a heavy hand in pulling this lovely day together.

| I have to add a note or two here about some cute ways to switch up some wedding favorites - by now most brides have seen Polaroid guestbooks and the like featured on the various wedding blogs... I thought this was a neat way to incorporate that idea into the decor and offer a 'drying line' to hang the prints while they 'set' -- cute, right? |
| And then here - on the right - I loved tag on the lantern which alerts each table that, at the end of the night, they are to take a lantern home as a reminder of their weekend at the beach for Amanda + Blake's charming wedding. |
