On our final day of photographing this lovely couple, we took L + E back to all of the places they visited during their time in Jamaica. I especially love it when our destination clients schedule a post-wedding newlywed session so that we might have a little extra time to take advantage of the scenic surroundings and create even more art for the home.

Rebecka + Andy tied the knot this past April with a sun-soaked wedding ceremony at Henderson Beach State Park in Destin, FL. After booking yours truly to photograph her wedding, Rebecka made a great decision and added my trusty sidekick MJ of Michael B Johnston Photography to the package.

Rebecka had a unique idea for her reception - dueling pianos! She booked the incredible team from Seville Quarter, and made sure each guest was in on the action with custom song request booklets doubling as placecards.

The guests treated themselves to a decadent ice cream bar in lieu of a traditional groom's cake.

Rebecka + Andy incorporated sparklers...but not in a traditional way. They asked their guests to illuminate their first dance with sparklers all around the dancefloor!

Rebecka's mom helped her design this absolutely fantastic photo booth. I heard a rumor that Rebecka is taking her show on the road. So for all of you Meg Baisden bride's out there - if you need a photo booth for your reception, shoot me an email & we'll make sure Rebecka gets the message.

flashback: danielle & jon - wedding

Danielle & Jon hail from our nation's capitol and wanted a warm, sunny get-a-way for their wedding weekend. They decided on the fantastic One & Only Ocean Club on Paradise Island, Bahamas.

The One & Only Ocean Club was featured in the recent James Bond flick Casino Royale, which coincidentally happens to be about poker. What a great movie. ;-)

Paradise Island, Bahamas Wedding | One & Only Ocean Club Wedding

The resort boasts a fully private beach, waterside dining, and a stunning view.

We started off our morning with Danielle & the getting ready routine.

Meet Jon - just moments before Danielle would walk down the aisle.

This little one put on quite a show.

Following the ceremony, we had a few fleeting moments of couples formals.

This incredible scene is was captured at the Cloisters - a private garden on the Ocean Club's property in the Bahamas.

The cocktail hour was hosted in the sunken gardens of the Cloisters.

This was the one of the resort's pools. The reception was hosted in the pavilion area visible on the right.

Following dinner, we enjoyed a spectacular display of fireworks that Danielle & Jon had arranged. The scene on the right depicts the Cloisters illuminated by the flares.

Amanda + Dan came all the way from Washington to get married on the beautiful white sand beaches of Destin, Florida. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't as cooperative as we might've hoped - but these two had a charming, albeit cold, toes-in-the-sand ceremony last month... 2/6/10 to be exact - which Charles cleverly incorporated here...
