“You like me! You REALLY like me!”
That’s what we all remember, but in fact the famed line reads:
“I haven’t had an orthodox career, and I’ve wanted more than anything to have your respect. The first time I didn’t feel it, but this time I feel it, and I can’t deny the fact that you like me, right now, you like me!” (1985)
– Sally Field, Best Actress for “Places in the Heart,” after having won in 1980 for “Norma Rae”
Well, you like me too!
This past week, I placed tenth in the Ceremony category of the WPJA Fall 2005 contest!!
Here is my award-winning image:
JUDGES COMMENTS: I really like it when photographers get low and give us a different perspective than the norm.

I’ m in a black and white mood today.
Here are some b&w shots from Dawn & Adrie’s wedding in Gainesville, Florida last month.
The beautiful Bauman Meditation Center was the backdrop for the ceremony overlooking Lake Alice.
The Bauman Center is gorgeous - similar to the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright.

A few weeks ago we met up with Heather and Blair, recent MB newlyweds, for a post-wedding photoshoot at Eden Gardens State Park The couple was looking for a more extensive series of couple images than the wedding day timeline alloted - so this session was the perfect solution!
As you can see, we had a blast together:

I loved these battery-powered candle lights - they don’t blow out in high winds:

Innovative centerpiece idea (the vases were lit from underneath!):

Excellent food by Emerald Coast Catering:

Post Bouquet Toss Mayhem:

Big fans (LOL): *NOTE: Meg failed to point out that this is a shot of the couple sneaking away from their reception to watch the World Series…the couple was pulling for the Houston Astros. Sorry guys!
