I’ve gotten so many questions about our first international wedding assignment that I figured it was about time I get caught up with the blogging and start by introducing y’all to April + Michael’s recent St Lucia wedding. Since you have had to wait for these posts so long, I’ve made them all especially image-heavy with about 30+ photos per post ;)

I always love starting the day with the bride and letting Charles hang out with the groom - my favorite part is looking through his images and sharing mine with him - showing each other what we missed. I can only imagine how the clients feel having this time documented - it all goes back to helping “tell the story” of the day…

I started with April at the spa:

Charles worked with Michael while I was at the spa:

When April was finished at the spa, we headed up to the room that Michael and Charles were in:

Michael surprised April with a secondary wedding band to complete her ring set:

April was so happy. Michael did good. The embrace:

The long walk down the aisle:

Something about this… I just love him looking at her. A stolen glance:

I’m sure y’all get sick of me saying this - but I swear, they really were glowing:

Just Married:

I love this candid moment of the couple walking toward their reception - I almost missed this shot!:

Reception (part 1) under the gazebo:

First dance as husband and wife:

They treated their guests to a private sunset cruise following their Sandals reception:

Doesn’t April make the most perfect island bride?:

I really like this quiet moment of Michael’s parents watching the sunset at the front of the boat… I wish I had a shot like this of my folks:

One of the last shots I took before getting incredibly seasick! :( Charles had to finish out the cruise solo:
