As the official photographers for Ballet Pensacola, The Nutcracker has worked it’s way into our repetoire and is the most anticipated production of the season. Since this is an annual production, our challenge is finding new & interesting ways to photograph the dancers from year to year. How’d we do?

You might look at this image and think “nice setup”. But the REALLY cool part with all of these images is that they are live action shots. Nothing was staged, nothing stopped…in each & every case, the dancers were moving at full speed during their dress rehearsal!

Shelley + Sanner are getting married in Santa Rosa Beach this coming May, and met up with us this past December to catch a few engagement images. Shelley’s mom lives in Seaside, so the location for the shoot was a no-brainer! Check it out.

Danielle + Jason met up with us this past December for their engagement session over in Panama City Beach. Oh yeah…their “kids” came with them!

With all engagement sessions, there are two primary purposes. One: give you an awesome set of artistic images. This is a fun & sporty way to introduce your new fiance to your family! Two: it gives us a chance to get to know you, and it gives you a chance to get used to the cameras! It helps to take the edge off a little on the wedding day!

The water was very shallow…but I still think it looks like the dogs are levitating.

Candace + John met up with us on a COLD day this past December for their engagement session! We got to meet both of their moms too! We had a blast getting to know them, and creating some rockin’ images for them. Their wedding is coming up this September, so this isn’t the last you’ll see of them.

I met Chris while I was working for the Pensacola Symphony as their Director of Marketing. Chris was one of our corporate sponsors, and took care of our network & computers in the office. He operates an IT firm here in Pensacola called Infinity Tech Solutions. Chris has been keeping the Meg Baisden Photography network & servers operating smoothly for the past three years.

Needless to say, we were very excited when Chris called to let us know that he was running for office here in Pensacola. We were even more excited when he asked us to shoot his campaign headshots! Now, we don’t do politics on this blog…but we will do a shout out for a friend & a client. So take a moment and check out Chris’s platform:
