We first met Emily when Ballet Pensacola was looking for a new photographer for their upcoming season. Shortly thereafter, we met Harley Bogart. We had yet another chance to work with Emily when she was a bridesmaid with Mandy + James this past February! Now it’s Emily + Bryan’s turn, and we’re thrilled to be working with you both! Bryan wanted to catch a few shots a local marina. So we set sail for Pensacola Beach.

Emily was convinced she was going to fall off the dock. This probably didn’t help much!

Jennifer + Tom were one of our few Pensacola locals that we have the chance to work with each season. We had an awesome time shooting some fun shots for their engagement session, and we just finished up their wedding last week! So check back soon to see the images from their big day.

We started out in downtown Pensacola.

From there, we hit Pensacola Beach. This almost never happens, but we actually got to shoot at the ACTUAL location that Tom proposed! WOW!

Joy + Dion were married this past November on Pensacola Beach! They had an adorable seaside ceremony followed by a reception at New World Landing. One of the new experiences for us at this wedding was getting to shoot our getting ready images at the Portofino Resort on Pensacola Beach! It was a wonderful location for the prep shots - wonderful backdrops. Check it out.

This little ring bearer had so much energy here and wouldn’t you know, less than half an hour later, he was already zonked out before the ceremony even began!

Prospective brides & grooms are always asking, “Do you do formals?”. The answer is DEFINITELY! While we do place an emphasis on natural, documentary wedding photography throughout the majority of a wedding day …capturing family formals in a easy, fun way is a critical part of what we offer our clients!

They were a fun crowd - constantly goofing around - so I didn’t want to totally stiffle that with an overly traditional line-up - here I just let them do their thing:

This is one of my favorite “getting ready” shots we’ve ever captured. I love the simplicity & mystery of this image.

We often are asked…”what do you recommend for a getting ready location?”. Easy answer: a clean room with gorgeous window light! Check out the results…

Meet Joy.

Having the right “getting ready” space can have a huge impact on the end result. This was a quick setup on the actual wedding day just before we went outside to shoot family formals with Joy.
