Y’all might remember that a few weeks back I posted some photos from Heather and Blair’s beach engagement session…
Well, this time they are back - but as our newest MB Photography newlyweds!
Their wedding was fabulous - just beautiful, all just hours before Hurricane Katrina made landfall.
The couple chose the see each other prior to the ceremony, so that we could finish their formal shots early in the day. They wanted a private set-up where those first few moments of seeing each other could be documented - so we cleared the sanctuary and told Blair to wait inside. When they opened the doors for Heather, even I got butterflies inside! This is a stolen moment from their first embrace:

The ceremony was held at the Santa Rosa Community Church followed by a colorful reception at the Beach Walk Cafe in Destin. Heather chose pink and orange as her accent colors and they were everywhere! I loved the choice of bold colors - it really set the mood for the reception:

The flowers were AMAZING.

The televisions at the bar were tuned to the weather channel throughout the night… I secretly kept one eye to the screen for most of the reception!
