Ashleigh-Anne’s bridal session seemed like it was never going to happen! We had to reschedule twice due to rain. But we finally did find the right day, and it was totally worth the wait!

I like all the hands on her here - there is such ritual to this getting dressed and made-up process:

Meg was feeling rather traditional this day - kept talking about everything feeling really ‘classic’ - I dig it:

Stephanie wasn’t aware that Meg was hanging over a railing above her to get this ariel view right before she walked down the aisle with her dad:

One of my favorite ceremony shots of late - you really need to see it big to get the full impact:

They had these enormous floral displays throughout the reception with goldfish in the base of the vase - way cool:

The food spread was awesome as well:

Maximizing our time is the name of the game - Meg and I shot the following two images at the exact same time - from two different cameras - giving our clients a nice bonus when needing to maximize productivity in the stiffling July heat!!

Who: Tara
What: Bridal Session
When: February 21, 2007
Where: Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, GA

We met up with Tara on a not-such-nice-weather day in Thomasville, Ga at (one of my favorites) Pebble Hill Plantation. I don’t know exactly why I love this place so much… I just do. I always have. The drawback is that I still go there so often I am trying to find new ways to use the space. Unfortunately, the rain kept us from straying far from cover so I didn’t get to do everything I wanted - but I’m still really happy with the shoot. Of course, with a pretty girl like Tara it is hard to mess up!

Who: Jessica & John
What: Engagement Session (with their dog, Jackson)
When: December 27, 2006
Where: Thomasville, Georgia

Y’all have seen (gorgeous) Jessica on here before - when we posted shots from her bridal session and if you keep up with the comments on our posts, she is definitely vying for numero uno blogstalker. Now you finally get to meet her equally handsome groom John and hot dog Jackson - get it? Hotdog! < --- I crack me up.

They really are this cute together all the time:

Jackson got his paws on this fake bird thing (part of a holiday display on the property) and went to town on it - his new favorite toy! So no worries, no live birds were hurt in the making of this session:

Keep checking back, as Jessica & John’s rehearsal and wedding posts are coming up next! :)

If you’d seen us at the wedding with these two - you might’ve thought we were old friends. The truth is, we didn’t even meet face-to-face until a few hours before their ceremony - but by the end of the night, as you’ll see below - we were all so comfortable with each other that they didn’t even blink when I asked them if they’d be up for some sexier end-of-the-night shots inside their honeymoon suite. And I am so glad they said yes - because I’ve saved my new favorite bride and groom portrait for last!

When we arrived on location at Melhana Plantation in Thomasville, GA I could see my favorite florist, Missy Gunnels, had already arrived:

They had already hung the dress up for this nice photo-opp:

The curly head cutie on the right belongs to our Newlyweds! Her name is Madison (just like my little dog!):

Madison couldn’t wait for mommy to finish walking down the aisle with Grandpa, she wanted to be held NOW:

Is it just me, or is it getting steamy in here?!:

I really love this final shot of the night:
