Pet Photography

Who: Harley Bogart
What: Pet Session
When: January 20, 2007
Where: Emily’s home (indoors since it was raining out!)

I have a cute dog. I know I might be baised - so whatever - but it cannot be denied that I have a very cute dog.

With that disclaimer out of the way, I have to say that Harley Bogart, Emily’s little furbaby, gives my little Madison a run for her money. His little tongue just sends me over the edge - he might very well win out in a cuteness contest - and I never say that. Ever. Ask Charles.

Allow me to introduce a very cute Harley to the blog:

Of course, we had to take some of Emily and Harley together:

This is the best! Reminds me of an old post on here of Madison in her Dracula costume:

Look at that little tongue!!

Who: Jessica & John
What: Engagement Session (with their dog, Jackson)
When: December 27, 2006
Where: Thomasville, Georgia

Y’all have seen (gorgeous) Jessica on here before - when we posted shots from her bridal session and if you keep up with the comments on our posts, she is definitely vying for numero uno blogstalker. Now you finally get to meet her equally handsome groom John and hot dog Jackson - get it? Hotdog! < --- I crack me up.

They really are this cute together all the time:

Jackson got his paws on this fake bird thing (part of a holiday display on the property) and went to town on it - his new favorite toy! So no worries, no live birds were hurt in the making of this session:

Keep checking back, as Jessica & John’s rehearsal and wedding posts are coming up next! :)

We met Karen & Paul through another one of our couples April and Michael - or - was it Kimbril and Doug? Kind of like a chicken or the egg thing… but, either way, they are all friends and all new friends of ours!

Now, I have to tell on Karen here - because it really is too funny… Karen and I spoke a few times about their engagement session in the weeks leading up to the shoot - and every time we spoke she would mention to me how “Paul” was a little nervous or how “Paul” wasn’t photogenic or how “Paul” might need a drink before the shoot to relax him a little. What a little liar she turned out to be!! :) It became obvious right away that KAREN was the nervous subject; Paul, go figure, was cool as a cucumber! LOL. No worries, though - we worked right through “Paul’s issues” - eh, Karen? ;)

We spent the afternoon at St Theresa Beach (right near Apalachicola for the locationally challenged!) - where these two met, and later, where Paul popped the question. We also had the great pleasure of meeting their two furbabies - pictured throughout the session, as you can see here:

Looking forward to the wedding in 2007!
