If you don’t know Jessica + John, and their adorable baby Ashton by now, then you’ve just been hiding under a rock! We love this family to death! They stopped by the studio for a quick afternoon shoot on their way through Pensacola to Tallahassee. Here are a few images from the session.

Mykesha looked us up at the beginning of the year hoping to set up a portrait session with her new fur baby Rufus. We had a wonderful afternoon getting to know Mykesha AND Rufus!

Mykesha reads “Go Dog Go” to Rufus to help him fall asleep each night. It worked during the session too. Meg caught this little yawn!

The moment quickly passed when Rufus heard another dog down on the beach. He was ready to go!

The toy pictured with Rufus is a stuffed palm tree with a monkey hanging from it. Too cute.

Allanda is an opera singer in Mobile, and needed a fresh look for her headshots. Meg (with her background in theatre) jumped at the chance! We had a great afternoon, and got some great shots!

Meg tells me the key to good headshots is a clean background, great catchlights in the eyes, and nice light on the skin - I think she aced it here:
